Emily Dill Silver-Wares
Silver-Wares by Emily Dill
"I make use of the past to create for the future."
What began as a hobby in 1995 is now the flourishing business, Silver-Wares. Local artist Emily Dill transforms old silver plate cutlery into wearable works-of-art and one-of-a-kind home décor. Each year Emily attends several antique shows throughout the eastern U.S. to find interesting silver plate but also relies on her favorite "pickers" to send her special items. She keeps thousands of pieces at her studio in Lanexa, Virginia for inspiration.
The Bruton Parish Gift Shop became one of the first stores to carry Silver-Wares. For 20 years we have carried Emily's line and are delighted that her artistry has become more and more sophisticated. Each creation is a one-of-a-kind piece and may vary slightly from the items displayed on our website.
In the special instructions section of your order you may indicate your preference for a more ornate or a simpler silver plate pattern. You may also call the Shop at (757) 220-1489 and discuss your preference with a sales associate. We are confident that the item we ship will delight you.
